A keyboard launcher that builds its own instant search index of every app and folder.

Jump Valet is a keyboard launcher for the Mac, built for people who want to reach any app, folder, or command in two keystrokes without waiting on the system index. It builds and owns its own catalog of applications and folders, so results return in milliseconds and the app works the same way whether or not Spotlight is indexing.
Type a few letters and Jump Valet ranks exact matches, prefixes, initials, and fuzzy matches, learning from what gets opened most. The same search box answers arithmetic, percentages, unit conversions, and currency exchange while you type, and it keeps a clipboard history you can search and pin.
For people who have invested in Alfred workflows, Jump Valet imports them directly. Every custom command lives in one readable JSON file that syncs across Macs, and each command can carry its own keyboard shortcut. A skin picker offers 13 looks, seven dark and six light, so the panel matches how the Mac is set up.
Jump Valet builds an in-memory catalog of applications and folders instead of relying on Spotlight, so it keeps answering even while system indexing is busy or off. Results rank exact matches first, then prefixes, initials, and fuzzy matches, and the ranking adjusts to what gets opened most.
Type a calculation, a percentage, a unit conversion, or a currency exchange and Jump Valet answers inline, right where the search sits. Currency rates are cached for twelve hours so answers stay quick.
Every custom command, shell script, and AppleScript automation lives in a single JSON file at ~/Library/Application Support/Jump Valet/commands.json, so what runs is always visible and easy to sync across Macs with Dropbox or git. Each command can carry its own keyboard shortcut.
Jump Valet keeps up to five hundred clipboard items, filterable by text, links, images, and files, with pinning for the ones used again and again. Items marked concealed by a password manager are never recorded.
Jump Valet imports existing Alfred workflows directly, converting the large majority of a typical workflow library so established automations keep working without being rebuilt from scratch.
Jump Valet surfaces commands from DisplayDial, Type Valet, Reach Desktop, PageHawk, Atrium Browser, and Cachet Contacts in the same search box, alongside system utilities like Finder, Dock, and Calendar.
