A typing command center: text expansion, a race-proof clipboard, and AI rewrites.

Type Valet is the typing command center for anyone who types the same lines over and over: support replies, sign-offs, addresses, and code snippets. It combines text expansion, clipboard history, and AI transforms in one Mac app, and it verifies every clipboard restore instead of guessing, so what you paste is always what you copied.
Snippets live in a searchable library grouped into folders, with dynamic fields like name, date, and cursor position, fill-in prompts for the parts that change, rich text and image snippets, and regex triggers for pattern-based expansion. A Secure Input sentinel names the app that is blocking expansion when one does.
Select any text in any app, press a shortcut, and rewrite it in place: improve the writing, make it formal or casual, fix grammar, summarize, or translate, using your own key with Claude, GPT, Gemini, and other providers. A 500 item clipboard history keeps everything you copy searchable while Type Valet is running.
Your snippet library syncs from Mac to Mac, and one click imports your existing snippets from aText or TextExpander so you keep everything you already wrote.
Type Valet verifies every clipboard restore instead of guessing, so pasting after an expansion puts back exactly what you copied, checked, not assumed.
Sixteen, a hundred, or a thousand snippets, grouped into folders, searchable by trigger, name, or text, with pinned and recently used snippets at the top.
Select text anywhere, press a shortcut, and rewrite it in place: improve the writing, make it formal or casual, fix grammar, summarize, or translate, using your own AI provider key.
Snippets can carry tokens like date, clipboard, and cursor position, plus interactive fill-in fields you complete before inserting, so one snippet covers many messages.
