About

Fortuity Sleep answers the two questions you wake up with: was last night good or bad, and what should you do about it. Every morning opens on one sentence about your night and one thing to do tonight, with the measurements behind the verdict written out so you can check them yourself.

Your own normal is the yardstick. After seven nights, Fortuity Sleep builds your norm from your own last 30 nights and measures every night against it, so a short night means short for you. Bedtimes are read on a clock the way you live them, which makes a late night show up as late.

Written rules decide what last night means: a short night, a late bedtime, a broken night, low deep sleep, an extra-long night, or a steady night with nothing to act on. Apple's on-device model puts the finished verdict into plain English, and the sentence is checked before you see it.

Fortuity Sleep runs on iPhone and iPad with an Apple Watch app that reads last night straight from the watch. Trends show two weeks or 30 nights at a time, with short nights marked and a bedtime chart that shows how steady your schedule really is.

Last night in one sentence

A verdict you can read in four seconds, such as You slept 1h 20m under your own norm, with tonight's action and the evidence right under it.

The shape of the night

Each stage gets its own row, deepest at the bottom, so deep sleep early and REM late read at a glance. A stage your watch did not record says not recorded.

Your own normal

The norm is the median of your own last 30 nights of three hours or more, switched on after seven nights, with last night left out so each night is measured against the nights before it.

One night, one recorder

When two apps write the same night to Apple Health, Fortuity Sleep picks the one with the stage breakdown, usually your watch, and notes the copy it set aside. Naps get the same check.

On your wrist and your iPad

The Apple Watch app shows hours asleep, the headline, tonight's action, and deep, REM, and core tiles. On iPad the same mornings fill a wide screen in portrait or landscape.

Trends worth acting on

Time asleep against your norm, bedtime consistency, and naps on their own line, so steady bedtimes, the habit most people can control, are easy to see.
