A menu bar app that reorganizes icons and readouts using plain-English rules.

StageMenu is a menu bar app for Mac users who run several system-monitor and icon-organizing utilities side by side. It replaces that pair with one app: live readouts for clock, weather, battery, and system metrics, plus icon management and a rules engine that writes its own logic in plain English sentences.
The clock module supports custom formats and world clocks, with a calendar grid pulled from the system calendar. Weather comes directly from the National Weather Service. Battery status covers connected Bluetooth accessories, and CPU, memory, disk, and network readouts sample natively, with no background daemon running while the app sits idle.
Icons hide behind an oversized divider item, so nothing needs Screen Recording permission; Accessibility is requested only to read the icon list across other apps. On top of that sits a rules engine: conditions such as power state, presenting status, the active app, the hour, or a metric threshold trigger actions like hiding everything during a presentation or prioritizing battery when unplugged.
An MCP server exposes seven tools over JSON-RPC so an AI agent can read and compose the menu bar directly. StageMenu is a one-time purchase; the rules engine and every readout are included.

An oversized divider item hides and reveals menu bar icons with no permissions required. Accessibility is requested only to read the icon list across other applications and to open a hidden icon's own menu.
Write conditions like being on battery, presenting, a specific app in front, a time of day, or a metric past a threshold, paired with actions that show, hide, or reorganize the bar automatically.
A Model Context Protocol server exposes seven tools over standard input and output, so an AI agent can read the current menu bar state and compose changes to it directly.
